Obama's Inauguration
President-Elect Barack Obama's Inauguration will cost approximately $150,000,000.00. Seems a bit steep in these difficult economic times.

It was recently announced that Barack will follow the train route first taken by President Abraham Lincoln nearly 150 years ago. He will ride a southbound train from Philadelphia PA to Washington D.C.

Can you imagine the security detail on this route? How will they secure every square inch or railroad track? We cannot even imagine.

Peter was married for 34 years to Jenny, his second wife, and had a loving family in Toronto and grandchildren in New York.
While his success in Hollywood was short-lived, he lived a happy and productive life outside the Glitter Dome.
Peter Kastner's talent was undeniable: he was chosen to star in an early Francis Ford Coppola film entitled You're A Big Boy Now.
He had his own sit-com in the U.S. in 1968: The Ugliest Girl in Town.
We at NIPPIES ® are grateful to Linda G. for informing us of Mr. Kastner's death. (Peter was found dead in his car on the night of September 19, 2008. apparently he'd pulled over to the side of the road prior to the massive coronary.)

    Obama's "Muslim Faith"
    Obama's "Muslim Faith"
Michael Savage, the very popular radio show personality from San Francisco, is one of the few major media folks who are calling Obama to task for his recent "slip" of the tongue...and we are NOT talking about the next day's "pig on a lipstick" crack.

Barack Hussein Obama was being interviewed by ABC's George Stephanopolous when he accidentally talked about his "Muslim faith." He was immediately corrected by Clinton's former staff member. Here's more from a story filed by Christina Bellantoni of The Washington Times:

"Sen. Barack Obama's foes seized Sunday upon a brief slip of the tongue, when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity but accidentally said, "my Muslim faith."

The three words -- immediately corrected -- were during an exchange with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," when he was trying to criticize the quiet smear campaign suggesting he is a Muslim."

We at NIPPIES heard the interview on tape while listening to Michael Savage's show. What was very interesting: Obama never noticed he said "my Muslim faith". He went on with his words and was corrected by Mr. Stephanopoulos who prompted him by saying "your Christian faith?".

The next day came the "lipstick on a pig" remark. The medial allowed Obama's "slip" pass. Why? It was far more telling. What's really interesting about all of this? Well, think about it. When did YOU ever insert the wrong religion into your conversation about your faith?
